Tidal Park aims to expose city dwellers to the ephemerality of being at the waterfront and engaging with water tides. It rethinks the traditional seawall and proposes a new approach to dealing with rising tides, one that puts site visitors in direct contact with landscape change. It interweaves city and waterfront, stitching together urban life with the equally rich life of the waterfront by daylighting the tidal flats that once existed here.
